Broomfield Village Hall can be hired out for a variety of different events such as weddings, christenings, childrens parties and other similar events.
The important Harvest Supper is held annually in the hall in the Autumn, along with other events throughout the year. The Broomfield Community cinema also shows several films a year during the winter months at the hall. The remote control screen is available for use at business and family events. The hall is also equipped with fast fibre broadband.
The well decorated and refurbished hall consists of a main ‘L’ shaped area plus cloakrooms, updated toilet facilities see here (including disabled), a fully-fitted kitchen see here which is fully equipped with utensils, plates, crockery, glasses, and a quick and efficient heating system. There is also an outside patio with a covered veranda.
The building is all on one floor with a disabled ramp to the right-hand front door and one from the hall into the veranda at the back. Parking is available on the road in front of the hall or at the rear in the parish car park.
Location
Situated in the heart of the Quantock Hills, Broomfield a small attractive village in between Bridgwater and Taunton. The location of the hall is perfect for weddings and christenings as the Parish Church is right next door. Just around the corner you will also find Fyne Court, a National Trust property.

Capacity
The capacity of the hall is as follows:
- Standing only – 100 people (no tables or chairs)
- Closely seated – 90 people (no tables) or 60 with the stage
- Seated at tables – 70 people or 60 with the stage or serving table
